Indicator Lights Status

Please make sure your router is connected to the Internet.

Setup

Download and install the app

Go to the App Store or Google Play to search for the Wansview Cloud app and download it to your smartphone, or scan the QR code on the guide to download the app.

Register an account

Open the Wansview Cloud app and register an account with your email, then activate it.

Add the camera Y1 (WiFi connection via QR code)

  1. Click Add Device or +
  2. Select Y1
  3. Select WiFi connection via QR code
  4. Power on the device
  5. WiFi setup
  6. Scan the QR code
  7. Wait for connection
  8. Pairing is successful
  9. The camera is online
  10. Live video
Y1 pairing via QR code: add device, select Y1, choose QR-code connection, power on, Wi-Fi setup, scan QR code, wait for connection, pairing successful

Add Y1 (WiFi connection via Soft-AP)

  1. Click Add Device or +
  2. Select Y1
  3. Select WiFi connection via Soft-AP
  4. Scan the QR code on the back of the camera sticker
  5. Start the setup
  6. Join the camera hotspot (WVCXXX)
  7. Select your home WiFi (2.4GHz only)
  8. Enter the WiFi password
  9. Wait for connection
  10. Pairing is successful
  11. The camera is online
  12. Live video
Y1 pairing via Soft-AP: start setup, join the camera hotspot, select home Wi-Fi, enter password, wait for connection, pairing successful, camera online, live video

This surveillance camera only works with 2.4GHz WiFi; 5GHz WiFi is not supported. Please place the camera near the router (within 3 feet) while setting up. After a successful connection, you can place the camera in another location.
